Tips for Planning Your Wedding Using Pinterest
Now that Pinterest is bride’s most favorite website, many brides are really relying on Pinterest when it comes to planning their wedding. But when it comes to serious planning and hunting for ideas, there are some tips and tricks you should remember to use on Pinterest.
Be organized and specific: Don’t just create a board with all your wedding inspiration pictures! Have a board for every detail in your wedding and gather different ideas in it, for example hair and makeup, invitations, cakes, shoes, dresses, centerpieces, should all have separate boards. And you might be tempted to pin a few beautiful pictures that you know will never use, but this will only clutter your boards and confuse you, so stay focused on things you actually want and can have at your wedding.
Finalize: Once you picked your theme, pinned the pictures you like, booked your vendors and wedding planner, it is time to stop looking for new ideas and pictures, stop looking at wedding pictures on Pinterest and focus on the ones you chose.
Include your suppliers and vendors: Show your wedding planner the board your created for your theme and decorations, show your makeup artist the pictures you like, and so on.. this will give them a clearer view of what you want.
Share your boards: One of the great services Pinterest offers is that you can let people pin on the boards you choose, so why not let your mom, mother-in-law or best friends help you out? They might come across some great ideas, if you don’t like a picture you can simply delete it.
