Worldwide Wedding Planners Create A Charity Wedding
During a mastermind retreat, members of Belief Wedding Planners worked together to make a wedding for a couple in need. In one year, the project Two Plus Us has reached 3 countries.
Giving back matters. That is one of the mottos of Belief Wedding Planners, an international community for wedding planners. That’s why they created Two Plus Us, a project to make social weddings around the world for couples in need.
"The aim is to marry people from all countries that we have Belief’s members worldwide. No matter their age, race, sexual orientation, and/or religion. We count 100% on the amazing participation of vendors from different areas to make that happen", says Giovana Duailibe, CEO of Belief Wedding Planners.
The project has already been carried out in 3 countries – Mexico, El Salvador and Italy. The last edition took place in Palermo, Italy, during the Belief Retreat, a mastermind event for worldwide wedding planners. After 3 full days of deep business talking, all the attendees worked together to make a wedding for the couple Rosalia Borgogna and Emilio El Fejji Aimen.
Here are some details of the story of the couple, Rosalia and Emilio:
Rosalia Borgogna, 24, and Emilio El Fejji Aimen, 20, met in 2015. They have been through several difficulties in their lives. When the wedding happened, Rosalia was in her seventh month of pregnancy, waiting for a girl called Fatima.
Rosalia was born in Palermo and she fights against a terrible form of debilitating epilepsy for which there is still no therapy. Emilio, born in Tunis but an Italian national, was adopted by an Italian-Tunisian couple. At just 5 years his adoptive mother left him.
Together, they faced several difficulties to find a home. Now they are taken under the protection of social services in Italy.
Belief Retreat
From November 12 to 14th 2018, the BWP Community brought the Belief Retreat to Palermo, in Italy. “It is an all-inclusive mastermind retreat for wedding planners entrepreneurs who are willing to level up their business”, says Giovana.
The event covered themes like Personal Branding, International Press and Brand Exposure, Accountability, Client Attracting Systems, Client Experience, Entrepreneurs Mindset, Social Responsibility, Projects Concepts and steps to level up your business. Wedding planners from Panama, USA, Portugal, Mexico, Norway, Belgium, and Italy attended the mastermind event.
This year, the host wedding planner was Sandra Santoro from Gettingmarriedinitaly. “With her background as an event planner, we lived an incredible Italian experience”, mentions Giovana.
The next edition of Belief Retreat will take place in Panama, from 10 to 15 November, 2019.
