What inspired you to establish The Wedding Atelier, and how has your vision evolved since its inception?
The Wedding Atelier was born from my desire to bring a new level of refined elegance and personalization to the wedding industry in Dubai. With my background in luxury events in Paris and Miami, I wanted to create a brand that blends sophistication, cultural richness, and impeccable service.
Since launching, my vision has evolved to focus even more on meaningful storytelling through design and crafting experiences that reflect not just style, but the soul of each couple.
The Wedding Atelier is known for creating sophisticated, bespoke weddings. How do you ensure each celebration feels genuinely personal and unique to the couple?
We begin every journey with in-depth conversations to gain a deep understanding of our couples’ personalities, cultures, and dreams. From there, we curate every detail — from the floral language to the scent in the air — to mirror their story and style. No two weddings are ever the same, and that’s the heart of our philosophy.
What are some of the most memorable or challenging weddings you’ve planned, and what made them stand out?
One that stands out was a multicultural, three-day wedding celebration where we blended Indian, French, and Emirati traditions. The logistics were intense, with multiple ceremonies, wardrobe changes, and locations, but witnessing the seamless harmony of cultures and emotions made it incredibly rewarding. It was a true celebration of love across borders.
What advice would you give to couples planning a destination wedding in Dubai, and why do you think Dubai has become such a sought-after location for luxury weddings?
Dubai offers world-class venues, top-tier hospitality, and a stunning blend of tradition and modernity. My advice is to work with a local planner who truly understands the destination’s nuances — from vendor management to cultural expectations — and to prioritize personalization. Dubai gives you a blank canvas to create magic; use it wisely.
With clients worldwide, how do you incorporate different cultural traditions into your weddings while maintaining your signature elegant style?
We believe tradition and style can coexist beautifully. We take the time to understand each cultural element, then integrate it thoughtfully into the aesthetic and flow of the event. Whether it’s a tea ceremony, henna ritual, or religious blessing, it’s our job to present it with grace and meaning, always respecting its origin while reflecting the couple’s refined taste.
Looking ahead, what exciting projects or trends are you most excited to explore in the upcoming wedding seasons?
We’re seeing a rise in intimate, immersive experiences where guests are not just attending a wedding — they’re part of a curated journey. I’m especially excited about incorporating more sensory elements, art-inspired designs, and cross-cultural fusions. Also, sustainability in luxury events is something we are exploring more deeply.
