Reem Acra has just revealed her Spring 2018 Bridal Collection in New York featuring designs inspired by the style and glamour of Tiffany & Co, one of the world's most celebrated jewelry houses.
The collection was developed and designed by Reem Acra through frequent visits to the Fifth Avenue flagship store in NYC. Reem was also given access to Tiffany & Co's archives to seek inspiration from in designing her magnificent new Spring 2018 collection. Reem turned to the finest and most iconic pieces for inspiration, namely The Tiffany Diamond, a 128.54 carat canary diamond set on a strand of more than 100 carats of white diamonds, prominently placed in the store's entrance and no longer available for sale.
Inspired by the elegance, glamour and sophistication of fashion icon Audrey Hepburn in the classic movie Breakfast at Tiffany's, Reem Acra's creative ingenuity culminated in a collection that carefully mixes classical bridal white dresses and black evening wear (which could be ordered in white) as a tribute to Holly Golightly, the lead star in the movie played by Audrey Hepburn.
Reem Acra's 2018 Spring collection includes a series of black evening gowns in different shapes and sizes that exude timelessness. The 2018 collection is both modern and grand, sultry yet structured, and includes nods to Tiffany pieces that have earned heritage status for the label: their recognizable bows and ribbons, breathtaking canary diamonds, and bold neckpieces that create a silhouette for a simple gown.
The collection also includes black and white wedding dresses, ivory dresses with ample amounts of beautiful lace and embroideries, illusion necklines and soft, airy skirts. Along with fashion-forward accessories, long gloves, innovative uses of lace, illusion paneling, Reem Acra sent her models down the runway adorned with diamonds and precious stones.

Sculpted and cut-out bodice details reflect the intricacies of ornate platinum metalwork juxtaposed with the power and vibrancy of Tiffany yellow diamonds.
Looping and scrolling bands of geometric diamonds in ribbon and bow motifs inspire romantic embellishments on sheer sleeves, necklines and tulle overlays, while the brilliance of Tiffany’s legendary gemstones Morganite and Kunzite add a blush tone to the mostly traditional color palette.
