A Fusion of Traditions: An Indian and Pakistani Wedding in Dubai

17th October – Welcome “to Dubai” Lunch at Hilton Al Habtoor City & “Dubai Bling” Sangeet at Delano Dubai

The wedding celebrations began with a vibrant Welcome Lunch at Hilton Al Habtoor City. Embracing the theme “Welcome to Dubai, guests were treated to an elaborate spread of local Emirati and Indian delicacies. Ayala dancers greeted everyone, offering a warm, cultural introduction to Dubai. The atmosphere was energetic and full of excitement as friends and family reunited. 

Later that evening, the couple hosted a dazzling Dubai Bling–themed Sangeet at Delano Dubai. The venue was transformed into a neon and crystal-inspired spectacle, glowing with colour and energy. Dabka dancers welcomed the guests, building the hype before the couple made their spectacular entrance, accompanied by traditional zaffa performers.

The night unfolded as an audiovisual extravaganza. Bhaven Dhanak captivated the crowd with his electrifying live performance, followed by tunes from the DJ, who kept the dance floor alive well into the night. The emcee kept the evening flowing seamlessly, engaging the audience, sparking laughter, and bringing together friends and family from across the globe. His crowd interactions added life to every moment, ensuring everyone felt part of the celebration.

With striking mocktails, mouth-watering multi-cuisine food, and an atmosphere brimming with laughter, dance, and love, the Sangeet set the tone for the celebrations to come. 

18th October – “Romantic” Nikkah & Dinner at Four Seasons Resort Dubai

The next day, the serene Dana Garden and ballroom at the Four Seasons Resort were transformed into a dreamlike floral wonderland. Soft hues of blue, white, and green set the scene for an ethereal Nikkah ceremony. Guests were left speechless as they entered the space, which resembled a fairytale garden brought to life. 

The bride made a breathtaking entrance down a mirrored aisle, surrounded by lush florals, accompanied by a live violin performance. The intimate Nikkah ceremony beautifully united two families, with guests attentively taking in every moment of the heartfelt proceedings. 

The intimate Nikkah ceremony brought together two families with heartfelt emotion. To capture the magic in real time, a live painter translated the ceremony’s most beautiful moments onto canvas. Guests watched in admiration as the artwork unfolded, an everlasting keepsake of the couple’s union. 

To refresh guests, a delightful high tea featuring cold coffee, ice cream, and a selection of Indian and  Arabic street delicacies was served. Personalized gifts, dates, and chocolates were distributed as tokens of appreciation.

The evening concluded with a lavish dinner featuring an extensive variety of Indian and international dishes. Conversations throughout the night echoed with admiration for the stunning decor and emotional beauty of the ceremony. 

19th October – “Grand” Reception at Atlantis The Royal

The final celebration was a luxurious red-themed reception at the iconic Atlantis The Royal. An evening that left guests in awe. The ballroom was transformed into a breathtaking art installation. A handcrafted fluid fabric structure draped the ceiling, complemented by cascading flowers and crystals. Above the dancefloor, a striking floral sculpture gracefully concealing a surprise that was in store for the guests until the couple’s grand entrance. 

The evening was one of indulgence and elegance, with gourmet cuisine and signature mocktails to match. A major highlight was the dramatic reveal of a four-tier white floral cake descending from the floral sculpture on the ceiling, eliciting gasps across the room. 

The emcee once again elevated the evening, uniting the crowd, creating laughter, and ensuring every moment felt warm, engaging, and unforgettable. 

Heartfelt speeches from family and friends added emotional warmth to the regal setting. Another sentimental moment was when the same day edit was played on the big screens in the ballroom. This 4- minute video showcased all the special moments and highlights that took place over the last 3 days of the celebrations. After dinner, Asees Arshad took the stage, performing nostalgic melodies that had guests of all ages singing and dancing. The celebrations continued late into the night with an electrifying after-party. 

The evening concluded with Shifa’s emotional ruksati, as loved ones surrounded the couple with sparklers, blessing their journey ahead. Shahzeb whisked his bride away in a striking red Ferrari, a picture-perfect ending to a magical weekend.
