From lantern-lit Arabian nights to vibrant beachside revelry, serene rituals, and a cinematic finale at Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi, the celebration moved seamlessly from one extraordinary moment to the next. It was a wedding that pushed the boundaries of imagination, a true showcase of artistry, emotion, and the magic that unfolds when storytelling meets celebration.
An Arabian Nights Dinner and a Morning of Tradition and Serenity
The festivities began with a warm, Arabian-themed welcome dinner at “Al Mazaj,” where guests stepped into a world of Middle Eastern charm: intricate mashrabiya-inspired designs, hundreds of glowing lanterns, and earthy desert tones set the mood. Live grills filled the air with appetizing aromas, and shisha lounges invite guests to unwind and mingle under a soft, candle-lit glow.
At the heart of the evening was a bespoke Arabian-inspired bar serving rose spritzers, saffron mojitos, date-espresso martinis, and other spice-infused cocktails, a tasteful homage to regional flavours. Meanwhile, DJ Rishi kept spirits high with vibrant sets as the night unfolded under the starlit sky of Abu Dhabi.
The next morning brought a quieter, soulful tone as guests gathered for the Vidhi ceremony. After a relaxed breakfast, the day began with prayers, blessings, and heartfelt rituals. Folk dancers balanced pots as musicians brought the sounds of Indian heritage alive. Guests were treated to steaming masala Karak tea served by charming chaiwalas and received thoughtful cultural gifts, a warm gesture of gratitude from the couple.
A Beachside Festival of Colors and Haldi
As the afternoon approached, the celebration transformed into a jubilant beachside Holi-inspired bash. The event, named “Rang Rang Mein,” was hosted on a beachfront setting that had been lavishly decorated with bright decor and colourful installations, framed by towering Bali gates against the backdrop of the blue sea.
The energy soared as the couple made their grand entrance, at the very moment fireworks exploded in a spectacular colour blast overhead. The beach turned into a playground of joy: colored powders, water guns, floral showers, and dancing filled the air. UK-based DJ ARVEE kept the vibe going, turning the beach into a lively, unforgettable Holi celebration.
Later that evening, the atmosphere shifted to a more intimate yet lively Mehendi night, under twinkling lights and accompanied by music, dance, laughter, and friendship, a beautiful prelude to the main ceremony.
The Grand Baraat and Ceremony
The next morning, hearts raced in anticipation of a Baraat like no other. Guests arrived dressed in coordinated shades of orange and danced joyfully as the groom, Vijay, made a regal entrance in a luxurious Rolls-Royce Dawn, flanked by ceremonial soldiers, a vision of royal elegance and grandeur.
As the procession approached the wedding grounds, two hostesses dressed in traditional Indian attire greeted guests with fragrant rose water, setting a warm and ceremonial tone. At the centre stood the mandap, decorated with fresh, contemporary florals and a long, elegant aisle, a picture-perfect setting for the main event.
From Dolce Vita Brunch to Blockbuster Night at Warner Bros. World
The final day began leisurely with a relaxed “Dolce Vita”–style Italian brunch at Marco’s, a calm prelude to the surprise-filled evening ahead. Guests were then transported in luxury to Warner Bros. World™ Abu Dhabi for the grand reception, and what a reception it was.
The evening blended heartfelt speeches, joyful dancing, and an unexpected twist: suddenly, theatrical fun erupted as characters like Joker stormed the stage only to be chased by Batman, much to the crowd’s delight. Guests were invited to follow the characters into “Gotham City,” where the afterparty exploded into a high-energy extravaganza, with DJ ARVEE spinning and iconic characters like Harley Quinn, Joker, and Batman mingling with guests, while cocktails flowed and the dance floor came alive.
