We had the chance to ask Farida Temraz about her passion for fashion, her career, inspiration, and her new bridal collection:
- What made you start a career in bridal fashion?
Fashion has been my passion since I was 7 years old. Being part of the big day of each bride is our joy too, as we are creating an unforgettable memory not just a dress. We love every single step of the way. We have had Temraza gracing the red carpet of the Oscars in a fully beaded 25,000 pearl dress, which created a huge buzz and attraction to brides-to-be, as well as, a whole bridal collection was presented in the 2018 New York Fashion Week showcase as an invited Ambassador.
- What are the latest bridal trends you are inspired by?
We like to create trends and develop our own signatures. Temraza is known for its unique cut, precious embroidery, intricately detailed fabric, and creative designs that suit each bride's personality and body so that she feels unique and special.
- How long in advance should a bride contact you in order to design her wedding dress?
3 months because it is a very critical process.
- Who is your all-time favorite celebrity bridal look and why?
I actually have several, and it is always something in each dress. It is always about the details.
Tell us about your latest bridal collection.
"To Love & To Hold" collection is inspired by the two extremes of life and vows: Happiness & Sadness, Love & Hatred, White & Black.
The collection reflects a previously hopeless perspective on romance, turned into a passionate stance, felt throughout the cuts & fabrics to create a distinctive style with a bridal twist and theme. The collection signifies the designer’s newly found belief in love and romance. The color palette mixes between Black and White, signifying these two extremes of life.
