Princess Iman bint Abdullah of Jordan Gets Married
A Royal wedding took place in Amman, Jordan on 12 March 2023. The beautiful Princess, Iman bint Abdullah II, married her fiance, Mr. Jameel Alexander Thermiotis, in a wedding ceremony that took place at Bait Al Urdun surrounded by 150 guests including members of the royal family, close friends, and dignitaries.
The Royal Hashemite Court first announced the engagement of Princess Iman to Jameel Alexander Thermiotis in July 2022.
The marriage ceremony started off with the Their Majesties King Abdullah and Queen Rania welcoming guests at Beit al Urdun Palace.
The Mother of The Bride shared a sweet statement in honor of her daughter on this special day: "It feels like only yesterday that our little princess Iman first lit up our world," Her Majesty wrote.
The Princess then walked in accompanied by her brother Crown Prince Al Hussein. Prince Al Hussein shared a sweet message to his sister on his Instagram account saying: "Grateful for all the precious memories we share and overjoyed to see you celebrate your wedding today… I wish you, dear Iman and Jameel, a lifetime of blessings and happiness together".
At the ceremony, Princess Iman sat with Mr. Thermiotis and King Abdullah in front of a green Quran placed on a table as the Sheikh performed the religious ceremony.
The couple then walked under spears carried by Royal Honour Guards, who usually greet foreign leaders when they come on official visits to the Kingdom. They jointly used an Arab sword to cut a six-tier wedding cake.
The guests arrived at the palace to tunes played by a Jordanian army band and sat in a garden courtyard, where the brief ceremony took place.

HRH Princess Iman
The beautiful Princess, 26 years old, stunned everyone with her elegance and simplicity as she walked into her wedding ceremony accompanied by her older brother, Jordan’s Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II. Prince Al Hussein will also be getting married this year to his fiance Rajwa Al Saif.
The bride looked gorgeous wearing a delicate custom-made white wedding dress designed by French fashion house Dior, pairing it with a beautiful Chaumet tiara. The long-sleeved bridal gown featured a full-length skirt in silk organza, a sheer lace panel, and lace-cuffed sleeves. Princess Iman's veil was embroidered with flowers. Her train was nearly 10 feet long and made a dramatic entry into the palace.
Dior PR Manager, Mathilde Favier, shared the news and announced the designer, Maria Garza Chiuri, behind the stunning gown across her Instagram account.
Princess Iman's look was completed with the touches of the Dubai-based Jordanian makeup artist Muhammad Hindash.
HM Queen Rania
HM Queen Rania looked mesmerizing in an ethereal Dior dress from the French fashion house’s Autumn 2022 couture collection.
The beautiful ring Queen Rania wore was made by Fabio Salini, an outstanding Italian jewellery designer based in Rome. The ring is a cabochon sapphires, angel skin coral, mother of pearl, yellow and gold Classica ring.
HRH Princess Salma
Princess Iman's younger sister, Princess Salma Bint Abdullah wore a pink Andrew Gn long dress with a bejeweled belt by the same designer, which has previously been worn by her mother Queen Rania.
Rajwa Al Seif
Crown Prince Al-Hussein’s fiance, Saudi national Rajwa Al Saif, opted for a yellow cape dress by Roksanda.
Rajwa completed her look with a Bottega Veneta Knot Intrecciato Gold Mesh clutch.
She also wore beautiful satin burgundy mules by Malone Souliers.
She was seated next to her future brother and sister-in-law, Prince Hashem and Princess Salma.
Jameel Alexander Thermiotis
Coming from a prominent Greek family, Jameel, and his family maintain a strong connection to their heritage with frequent trips to the island of Andros.
Princess Iman’s fiance founded Outbound Ventures LLC after he graduated from university, he’s now a managing partner in a New York City venture capital firm.
For his marriage ceremony, Jameel wore a black suit with a grey waistcoat.
The Wedding Planners and Vendors
Ahead of the nuptials, the Queen shared a sneak peek of the decor, while she also announced that the wedding planner of the ceremony is Jordan-based ADegrees by Abdallah Assi.
Once the couple signed their marriage contract they celebrated with a traditional Jordanian zaffa as they walked into their reception together. The zaffa was by the famous Maan Zaffa Group of Jordan.
The official photographer of the ceremony was Farras Oran who captured the beautiful moments of this special day.
The Decor and Theme
The decor and planning were all done by Abdullah Assi of Adegrees, Abdullah revealed that the design of the ceremony was all about striking simplicity and sophistication in soft earthy colors, and the venue was with spring florals, such as the pretty cherry blossom flower. Anemone flowers were also used to decorate the tables.
White candles were also used to add some warmth and romance to the venue.
Abdullah shared the pictures on his Instagram account describing the theme: "The theme was Earth inspired in neutral colors that complemented a simple yet elegant and royal design."
