So here are some cool tips to help you choose the best dress for your curvy body:
- Try the dresses that are in your budget range: Plus-size gowns can be pricier than smaller sizes because they charge a higher percentage for more material. So avoid trying on bridal gowns that are not in your price range, if you fall in love with one you will be disappointed by every other dress you try on later.
- It’s ok to wear bigger size in wedding dress than in your normal clothes: Bridal sizes are usually smaller than normal clothes, so if you normally wear a size 14 then you will probably need a size 16 in bridal.
- Choose the right fabrics and designs: Tafetta is a good fabric for curvy brides, as it smoothes everything out. Also avoid strapless designs, and choose styles with sleeves, or straps. Another thing to avoid is heavily-beaded bodices, which can draw attention to areas you would prefer to minimize.
