Welcome to the UK Wedding Show!

Arabia Weddings attended the UK Wedding Show that was held in London on February 4 and 5.

A beautiful venue for the wedding show, The Excel was completely transformed into a matrimony haven where couples from across the globe -along with their family and friends- came to see what’s in store for the year 2012.

The show offered a wide range of booths and stands, showcasing all aspects of the wedding: From wedding gowns, tuxedos, makeup artists and flower arrangements, to wedding favors, car services, band performances and wedding cake.

We noticed brides, grooms, bridesmaids and family members circling the booths and looking around for inspiration for the big day. There were fashions shows set throughout the day, with the biggest names in the industry modeling their latest bridal gowns and tuxedos. Also a nice touch, were a few stands that offered makeup advice, giveaways for the bride and groom, and even a free teeth-whitening treatment sample!

A dominant theme across the show was that of an authentic British nature. A classic Cadillac was parked in the middle of the showroom, carefully decorated with white flowers. A traditional red bus was also showcased as an idea for the bride and groom to transport their close friends and family. A Champagne Bar as well as an extended Coffee Bar attracted couples as they stopped by for refreshments and snacks.

What we particularly liked was a cute booth that offered ideas for wedding favors. Our personal favorite? Small honey and jam jars to give out to family and friends of the happy couple. Super sweet!
