A Burgundy Garden Wedding in Lebanon

High in the mountains of Lebanon sits a beautiful natural forest, Les Jardins du Mzaar, at over 1200 meters above sea level. This popular winter ski resort was chosen as the wedding venue of this delightful wedding that was held on 29 June 2019. Marie-Joe Germanos and Anthony Junior Hajjar's wedding was designed and planned by Maya Toubia Weddings and Events.

"Burgundy is a deep, rich color that is known to be a refined color. We combined it with blush tones to add delicacy and sweetness to the decor of this wedding that took place in one of the most beautiful gardens in the mountains of Lebanon. This contrasting and bold combination of colors made the wedding color palette truly outstanding," said Maya Toubia.

A long catwalk was laid in the midst of the forest leading guests to the ceremony area. An ombré flower technique was used for the ceremony decoration starting with white roses and ending with burgundy peonies as you can see in the pictures below.

"We made sure to add light colors of flowers along with the burgundy in order to maintain that overall soft and romantic feel," added Maya Toubia.
