Destination Amor: A Lebanese Fairytale with an Egyptian Soul

On a warm June evening, nestled in the charming stone village of Bkerzay, Natalie and Mostafa celebrated their love with a wedding that was equal parts timeless and unforgettable.
The bride, Lebanese, and the groom, Egyptian, blended their cultures beautifully in a celebration that honored tradition, childhood nostalgia, and a shared sense of joy. Titled “Destination Amor,” this wedding was planned and designed by the talented team at Coup de Foudre, who transformed the venue into a romantic escape layered with meaning and style.
At the heart of the wedding design was a stunning serpentine table layout, a unique twist on traditional dining that brought intimacy and a sense of flow to the celebration. Draped in soft white linens and adorned with lush florals in passionate shades of crimson, berry, and fuchsia, the tablescape felt like a living poem. Taper candles flickered between whimsical arrangements of anthuriums, garden roses, and dahlias, casting a dreamlike glow over the setup as the sun set behind the stone archways of Bkerzay.
The florals weren’t the only thing to make a bold statement; this wedding was filled with playful personal touches. Guests were gifted customized tote bags brimming with treats that took them back to their childhoods, a nostalgic nod that felt both personal and thoughtful.
A vintage-inspired audio guestbook invited friends and family to leave heartfelt (and often hilarious) messages, capturing the joy of the day in a way words on paper never could.
One of the most charming moments of the evening came when Natalie and Mostafa decorated their wedding cake with fresh berries. It was a simple, intimate gesture that added a personal layer of meaning to the celebration, an unfiltered expression of love, joy, and shared creativity.
As the night danced on under the stars, the couple surprised their guests with a whimsical twist: a McDonald’s booth, cleverly shaped like a giant box of fries, serving up late-night snacks. It was the perfect ending, fun, unexpected, and undeniably them.

This playful booth wasn’t just a clever design moment, it was a nostalgic crowd-pleaser that brought smiles, laughter, and the ultimate comfort food to the celebration. As the party carried into the night, guests grabbed freshly made fries served in custom packaging, making it the perfect end-of-night snack, fun, unexpected, and Instagram-worthy. A perfect example of how thoughtful details can turn a wedding into an experience to remember.
