A Golden Lebanese Wedding for Nancy and Khalil

Nancy Mansour and Khalil El Khoury had a beautiful outdoor summer wedding in Keserwan, Lebanon, on 17 August, 2019. Held at Les Talus in Okaybeh, the venue sits at 340 meters above sea level overlooking the Mediterranean sea.

Nancy and Khalil's 'golden' wedding was classy and elegant. It was what the lovely couple always wanted, "my husband and I always framed the most important day of our lives in a big wedding setting to share with our loved ones," said Nancy.

The design and decor of the wedding, right from Nancy's house, to the church where the ceremony was held and on to the wedding venue, flowed harmoniously in colors of white and gold. The couple walked down the isle lined both sides with different types of flowers and plants in golden colors which felt like walking into a golden forest.

Nancy wore a custom-made bridal gown by Sara Mrad, an up and coming Lebanese fashion designer. The dress and the headpiece were adorned with pearls expressing that unique feminine touch, while satisfying Nancy's love for pearls. "I had two beautiful bouquets, but the one I held at the church was remarkably beautiful; roses with long rods dipped in gold,"

At the reception, the golden touch definitely accentuated the greenery of Les Talus venue; the chairs, tables and table settings were glowing in gold along with candles lighting up the place.

"Everything went smoothly thanks to the help of both our wedding planner and family members. The highlight of this beautiful day was the joy on people’s faces. It was clear that our wedding day had marked its spot in people’s memories given the ongoing compliments they kept on showering us with," add Nancy.
