From 1 September 2023, Abu Dhabi announced changes in fees applied at hotels, which are believed to reduce the cost of Wedding Packages offered by Abu Dhabi hotels and venues.

The changes are as follows: 

  • A reduction of the Tourism Free from 6% to 4% 
  • Cancellation of Tourism Fee (6%) and Municipality Fee (4%) applied to hotel restaurants
  • Cancellation of additional Municipality Fee per room, per night of AED15
