Zahra and Ziad's Summertime Romance Wedding in Lebanon
Zahra Abu Khalil and Ziad Kachmar got married on 13 June 2019 at Domaine de Zekrit in Mount Lebanon. Nestled perfectly between the lush valleys of Mount Lebanon, Domaine de Zekrit has seen the rise and fall of great empires dating as far back as the Phoenician Era. An enchanting church from medieval times is also located on-site and serves as the ideal venue for religious ceremonies.
The wedding theme for this outdoor Lebanese wedding was 'a travel journey' inspired by the song "Summertime Romance" which was the first dance of the couple as Mr. and Mrs. A Summertime Romance sign lit the skies at night and acted as a beautiful backdrop for the dance floor. Zahra & Ziad signed off their thank you message in the guest book with this phrase: "To Love, laughter and summertime romances".
As you will see in the gallery below, the 'Travel Journey' theme was represented by some emblems of the travel industry: Seating cards were designed as luggage tags, table numbers stood high as Gate Numbers on the beautifully decorated tables, suitcases were used at the entrance and wired airplanes were pinned in the flower centerpieces.
Table length flower centerpieces of white roses, white peonies with a touch of green leaves added elegance and grace. On other tables, the centerpieces had sunflowers and other yellow blooms adding a cheerful vibe to the wedding.
Wedding guests traveled from 28 cities to join the celebration before the lovely couple left for their honeymoon in Thailand.
