IF Wedding Fashion Izmir has been standing on with increasing momentum since 2014 will further increase this momentum in 2018. The fair that has increased its numbers in all fields, is getting prepared to break record for growth in 2018.
The fair that finished this year with 227 exhibitors including 20 foreign exhibitors from 9 countries in total and 23,000 visitors and 4,000 international buyers from 70 countries. Organized with 256 exhibitors including 22 foreign exhibitors from 9 countries in total and more than 30,000 visitors and 8,000 international buyers from 81 countries.
Works have been carried out at Barcelona Bridal Week / Spain, Si Sposa / Italy, Interbride / Germany, Harrogate Bridal Show / United Kingdom, Central Asia Fashion / Kazakhstan, Wedding Fashion / Ukraine Fairs within the scope of preparations performed to develop further the international identity of the fair and to provide foreign manufacturers with recognizability in Turkey.
The fair aims to combine its fashion and design identity with its commercial identity, has been opened up to the world with the slogan “Passionate about Fashion”.
The collection labeled as “Perla” by winner of the Last Year’s Wedding Dress Design Contest Amor Gariboviç will take part in “Performance Fashion Show” providing the opportunity to transform young designers to world-renowned fashion designers.
Wedding Dress Design Contest exploring young talents has been organized for the ninth time this year with the theme “Feast”. 15 semi-finalists elected from 365 designs will take part in the fashion show of opening ceremony. At the end of the fashion show, the winner and the holders of the second and third places will get monetary award.
İZFAŞ and fuarizmir assuming the mission to bring new faces and new designers to the industry will carry out fashion interviews and workshops in Trend Arena that it will organize for the second time this year. Hosting nearly 20 visitors, Trend Area will be a meeting point for designers and managers of institutions, organizations and associations of the sector.
