With 2015 being right around the corner, trends are already being predicted for weddings!
Couples are more and more looking for ideas to add personality to their weddings; they want to show who they are through their wedding choices.
In 2015, most couples will be seeking new ways to include their personal tastes and touches in their own weddings; one of them is the choice of their wedding music.
Here are some music trends for your 2015 wedding that will make your wedding feel more personal and unique.
- Turning Old Into New: Couples are requesting updated versions of wedding classics. Instead of picking an old song, by the original singer, you might choose the acoustic version by a more popular singer these days.
- Go Back to The 70’s Bands (Yacht Rock): What started as an underground music movement based on the comedy TV/online series Yacht Rock, this musical genre is gaining major play at weddings around the world. "We're not the typical wedding band," says Nicholas Niespodziani of Atlanta's Yacht Rock Revue. "But the dance floor is always full."
- Adding Your Names to Lyrics: This trend can easily be done if you are bringing a singer to your wedding. Ask your wedding singer to include your names in different parts of the song while singing at your wedding. Your names can also be added to pre-recorded songs to which you can enter the wedding reception as the new Mr. & Mrs.
