Fashion website Net-a-Porter.com is now stocking affordable bridal dresses by contemporary British label Needle and Thread.
Prices range from a very reasonable ($190) for a knee-length, tulle-skirt dress, to ($1180) for an intricately embellished, floor-length creation.
Net-a-Porter has stocked Needle and Thread’s party-ready, sequin-heavy creations for several seasons, but one of their buyers Linda Ayepe calls the bridal collection “totally irresistible”.
Hannah Coffin, who founded Needle and Thread in 2013, says she wanted to launch a bridal range “for a long time,” and that Net-a-Porter’s “impeccable reputation coupled with faultless customer service made them the obvious choice.” She was previously design director at AllSaints, where her talent for embellishment made the brand a destination for relaxed eveningwear.
Good news for new brides-to-be who want to go fashion with their dress - without breaking the bank. Also, a bonus: order from Net-a-Porter and this is one wedding dress you'll be able to try on in the comfort of your own home.
