Designer Releases Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Dolls
Sun 21-01-2018

A designer line of commemorative Prince Harry and Meghan Markle wedding dolls have come in for criticism online.

The dolls, created by American designer Shirley Corsey via her online Etsy store, retail at around $181 (£131).

Critics pointed out some unusual design choices - such as Prince Harry's dummy bushy brown hair, rather than the Prince's well known short ginger crown.

Ms Markle's doll, by comparison, is said to be "better", in as much as it has dark hair and brown eyes.

One social media user, Michael Moran, said there was "everything" wrong with them.

The royal pair are set to marry next May at St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle.

Ms Markle, who is to become a British citizen, is being both baptised and confirmed ahead of the religious ceremony.

The Queen will be there, as will the rest of the royal family, along with Ms Markle's parents Thomas Markle and Doria Ragland.

Prince George and Princess Charlotte look set take on the roles of pageboy and bridesmaid.
