A Groom Forces a Pilot to Make an Unscheduled Landing in Berlin
Tue 22-03-2016

A Ryanair pilot was forced to make an unscheduled landing in Berlin after a group of drunk passengers compromised the safety of the flight and refused to obey the crew’s instructions.

According to German Police, the passengers were between 25 and 28 year old, and one of them was a groom-to-be headed with his friends for his bachelor party.

They were among a group of 12 men from Southampton heading to  Bratislava, but only 6 were allowed to stay on the plane.

The other 6 friends were removed from the flight and given to German Federal Police where they could face fines up to 25,000 euros.

A Ryanair spokesman told The Guardian: “We will not tolerate unruly or disruptive behaviour at any time and the safety and comfort of our customers, crew and aircraft is our number one priority. This is now a matter for local police".
