Jenny Packham, the London-based designer known for dressing the Duchess of Cambridge has collaborated with David’s Bridal.
Jenny Packham has conceived a collection of 9, full-length gowns that will retail for a fraction of the price of her bridal confections.
Packham, who also designs affordable occasionwear for Debenhams, said the collection is “inspired by the belle époque of the early 1900s, with light beading and understated, flowing silhouettes alongside more contemporary structured shapes.”
David Bridal opened in the UK in 2013 and unlike many small, appointment-run bridal boutiques, operates in a much more informal way. Customers can turn up without advance warning to try on dresses free of charge and prices are generally much more affordable than niche brands due to cheaper fabrics.
