Man Proposes to Girlfriend with Super Mario Game

Gamer Shane Birkinbine used Super Mario to pull off his marriage proposal.

Using Super Mario Maker, a Wii U game that allows players to build their own levels inside the world of Super Mario Bros., Birkinbine was able to spell out, “Pam, will you marry me?” 

Fueled by his fiancé’s emotional response as she played the level, the video has reached nearly 151,000 views on YouTube, more than 12,800 likes on Facebook, and has even been picked by Ellen DeGeneres.
