Now that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are engaged the world has its eyes set on the couple.
Meghan Markle like every bride to be, dreams of the perfect wedding dress, and her case a dress, which will be seen by millions of people around the world, for years and years to come.
Meghan’s choice of designer will be a difficult decision, but the British fashion press is predicting the 36-year-old’s dress will by Erdem.
The Canadian born, U.K. based designer is already a favorite of Markle’s: “Erdem is a designer I've been wearing for years,” she previously told Vanity Fair.
Sarah Burton, the master creator behind Kate Middleton’s Alexander McQueen dress said, "it had to be a dress of historical importance and one which had enough presence for Westminster Abbey, and yet it needed to be modest".
On the subject of McQueen, it’s safe to say Meghan won’t wear the same designer as Kate, as not to draw comparisons.
Meghan previously shared her favourite celebrity wedding dress of all time was the minimalist style Carolyn Bessette wore when she tied the knot with John F. Kennedy Jr.
The timeless dress was designed by Narciso Rodriguez, for Calvin Klein.
Kensington Palace announced last night that Harry and Meghan's royal wedding will take place at St. George's Chapel, Windsor Castle in May 2018.
