Saudi Woman Asks For Divorce Due To Revealing Her Face

A Saudi wife asked for a divorce from her husband after he asked her to reveal her face in front of his brothers.

The wife wrote a letter to one of the local newspapers explaining that her husband was insisting to break their traditions by asking her to reveal her face to his siblings.

The husband explained to her that his brothers' wives take of their "Nekab" or face cover in front of the other brothers and that there is nothing wrong with that.

But the wife refused and left the house to go to her parent's house and ask for a divorce.
