Arabia Weddings, the leading online wedding planning platform in the Middle East along with Carousel Events, a luxury wedding planning company based in Dubai, delivered two workshops for wedding planners in April 2017 in Dubai. This strategic collaboration, which aims to build and strengthen the weddings industry in the Middle East, will continue to expand to deliver more workshops, training sessions and seminars in the UAE and other markets in the Middle East.
The first workshop, led by Zainab Alsalih, Founder and MD of Carousel was held at Rixos The Palm Dubai on 4 April 2017. Zainab candidly shared her valuable wedding planning experience and professional expertise that spans over 10 years, with a group of wedding planners and industry professionals, mostly from Dubai, who greatly valued the advice and anecdotes that Zainab offered. The workshop was described by attendees as inspiring and insightful and was greatly appreciated as a networking event among industry peers.
The second workshop, held on 26 April 2017 at Dubai Polo and Equestrian Club, was also delivered by the Zainab Alsalih of Carousel, and was about “Essential Tips for Planning The Perfect Wedding”. The workshop focused on the key deliverables of a wedding; how wedding planners can work with clients; the design and planning process of a wedding from venue selection to photography & videography; how to anticipate the challenges and get ready for them; and other essential elements needed to produce a seamless wedding. Zainab Alsalih stressed on the importance of the wedding planning journey and not just the destination making it a positive experience for both the couple and the Wedding Planner.
“I am extremely pleased to have had the opportunity to share my professional journey and the lessons learnt along the way with fellow entrepreneurs in the weddings industry, and quite appreciative of the effort that Arabia Weddings is doing in fostering a stronger weddings industry in the region”, said Zainab Alsalih.
Further workshops and training sessions for wedding planners, wedding co-ordinators at hotels and venues, florists, photographers and other professionals in the weddings industry are planned for the final quarter of 2017 and for 2018.
