Sweet, Sweet Skin - The Apple Pie Mask

The wedding is approaching, and while you’re supposed to be taking good care of your skin for the big day, stress is finding a way to get under your skin… literally!

If you have oily skin, it can get very uncomfortable, especially on your wedding day. With all the lighting, sweating, and make up, you need to take safety measures to make sure you don’t have a glossy forehead or T-Zone, that will haunt your wedding pictures for life.

We’ve heard that ‘The Doctors’ highly recommends this homemade Apple Pie mask, so why not give it a try? It is very simple to make, and even simpler to apply. So in order to get the matte look for your wedding, and all the pre-wedding parties and events before, here’s what you need to do…

Ingredients:

 2 egg whites

 Lemon juice

1 cooked apple

1 Tbsp oatmeal

Application:

Simply mix all the ingredients listed above, creating a gel-like texture and apply on your face. If you have sensitive skin, just apply the mask on your forehead, nose and chin (the T-Zone has the most excess oil anyway).

Leave the mask on for 15 minutes, then rinse. You will feel your skin dry up and tighten a few minutes after you apply it.

This mask contains fruit acid, Vitamin B, Vitamin C, and many nourishing components that will open up those pores, and get some exfoliating action going on too. We know every bride wants to shine on her big day, but surely not by having shiny skin! Good luck!
